The rule is about giving your ex the space he/she wants from you. This
means, no phone calls, no text messages, no gifts or cards. Nothing at
all. I know its tough on you, but maybe for a few days, just forget
about your ex.

didn't call them even after a month and a half of no contact. That's
when things started to get ugly and the person started to panic again.
How long do you need to follow the no contact rule? Wait too long and
you will find that things have gone too bad. What if the rule works for
you and your does call? What do you do then? What do you talk about? If
you start to convince them to come back you ruin all your chances of
getting him/her back.
